THERE IS ve THERE ARE

1) "Var" anlamında kullanılır.

2) Ayrıca bir şeyin yerini bildirmek için kullanırız.

3) there is/ are not : yok

is/are there..? : var mı?

is/are not there... ? : yok mu?

is/are there not..? : yok mu?

4) There is a vase on the table. ( bu cümle It is ile başlamaz.)

It is very expensive. ( bu cümle There is ile başlamaz.)

5)Sayılamayan isimlerle birlikte her zaman there is kullanırız.

6) there is + sayılabilen tekil isim ( yapısı daima: there is a...)

7) Tek başına THERE : orada / HERE: burada

8)Çoğul kelimeler için there are kullanırız.

9) How many......are there... ? ( Kaç tane var....?) şeklindedir. (burada is there kullanılmaz.)

10)Is there any....? (Hiç var mı...?)
